Earlier you had some questions concerning Haley's presentation at the TVLand Award Show.
So what sort of reception did he receive from the audience when he was introduced... lots of applause, a smattering of applause, or a standing ovation? What was his reaction to the applause? Was this near the beginning, middle, or near the end of the show? What sort of things did he say that made you think he spoke so well? How did it lead up to him singing Happy Birthday? Did he sing from the podium that we saw in the pics... was he actually singing, or more like saying the words to music... if there was music? Did everyone else then join in so that you really couldn't hear him anymore... or was it just him singing... and how did he sound?
Here is another perspective:
As Haley walked on the stage (from the audience's left side) there was polite applause mostly because it was an older audience. Very few people under 22 (that I could see). He just walked confidently to the podium
Haley's segment was about 45 minutes into the 2 hour show.
He seemed very relaxed at the podium. He spoke in a smooth, confident voice. He leaned forward with his hands folded on the podium.
His segment was honoring Charles Lane, a character actor who appeared in many TV shows too numerous to list here. It looked to me as if Mr. Lane was in a wheelchair, but they tried to disguise it. Mr. Lane did not go on stage. As they brought a birthday cake to him, Haley led the audience in singing Happy Birthday. You could hear Haley's voice at times, but mostly the music was louder than the singing. I thought Haley sounded ok in the singing. I think his best work is as an actor and not a singer.

Pay It Forward is my favorite movie and Haley Joel Osment is my favorite actor.
