Hi Everyone!
Today was a good day. I'm 100% better from the stomach flu and I finally did some school work. My science project is shot - the robot I wired got ruined when it fell out of the back of the car at Duane's house. So, instead, I am doing a report in place of a project that is on Quantum Teleportation (inspiration from Half Life). I went to ballet today and then I went to my private Hebrew lessons with the Rabbi for my Bar Mitzvah. When I got home there were lines for 2 auditions for tomorrow. One audition is 15 pages long! The other is 4 pages. When I got home from Hebrew there was also another suprise - my parents got a Chanukah/Xmas tree after they dropped me off at the Rabbi and they brought it home so I would not see it when they picked me up. That would actually be funny for the Rabbi to see a Xmas tree on the top of the car. He would laugh because he is like that. I like that about the Rabbi - all people are welcome to come to all the events that we have for the Jewish holidays and for anything else. Before, when I went to a big synagogue when it was holiday time, my mom found out they would not let my dad come to synagogue for the holidays because he is not a Jew. I went to Sunday school with Duane and Mel last Sunday and no one made me feel not welcome. I had a great time and Mel sang. Her voice is awesome. She sings this song by Yanni called Aria. The tree is the biggest one we ever had. I beat Halo 2 today. I don't know why people said the ending sucked, because I liked it. Sure, it was open ended, but I stayed until the end of the credits and the official last scene closed it up a bit.
Time to do lines. Sorry I could not catch up again on the mb, but I will!

We have our Chistmas tree up too  We put it up on Saturday. When is your Bar Mitzvah? I hope your auditions go well. I'm sure they will. I went to Sunday school when I was younger and there was a boy there who believed he was Jesus and he would come dressed up as him. He was a little odd. My brother has completed Halo 2 also. He thinks it was great. Sorry about your Robot! It sounded great but I'm sure your report will be just as good.

what's up? Wow you guys already got a xmas tree? Woo we're behind  . My holiday starts at the 16th..can't wait! I've done a couple of pitch games lately which usually mean hard work to late at night for a very intensive couple of weeks. Not much fun because you burn out easily and those games may not even come to anything if publishers are looking for another product. It's always crazy here during the holiday time. We'll have the anual Xmas party at one of the largest concert places again this year. It's usually fun and next day we go to an arcade to play off some of the company's money. Last year I played so hard my arm hurt! Felt like it was broken!? Hmm...I'll be more careful this time.
Halo 2 seems very cool. Have you got Half Life 2 yet? Pretty powerful stuff one have to have to get it running on a PC. My laptop is the latest Toshiba but I think you have to have one whopper graphics card to make it run HL2.
Do you know when the hand held PS is coming out in the US?? Think it's out soon in Japan..
Got to get back to work...have to make these morph targets work..
Next time we hook up I'll show you what we've done for the next Gen games...it's awesome looking!...reflecting water in caves...real starlit night sky that is moving after the moon and time of month.. - same with the water tide..looks magnificent..and the cyclop..woooh..he's one bad mama!

Carter and I have our tree as well. We got it last Friday and Carter set it up and I put the lights on it and decorated it. I am very lucky that my mom has given me loads of ornaments throughout the years and I had plenty to fill the tree with.
Last night Carter and I sold Christmas Trees at the Young Life tree lot. It was so cold, like 34 degrees. I know that isn't super cold, but that was cold for this time of year. We had help at the lot, Aunt Susan and Uncle Chuck, and Audrey and the Reeds. You will remember Randy and Karen as the ones who introduced my dad and made him sing. Haha.
Tonight I am cooking homemade Italian meatballs in marinara and sweet dumpling squash. I think I will cook some pasta so that Carter will have a starchy thing. I got an email this morning that the Hannukah/Christmas present that I ordered for you has been shipped. I will send it out to the PO box as soon as it gets here. I hope you like it. I saw it and thought....LOGAN!!

Nice to hear that your feeling better. Dude was it hard to make a robot?? Take some pictures of it. What was it supposed to do? Yeah our tree is up as well, for the first time we have a color theme, blue and white. This is gonna be a good year!! Lots of presents!
Man my hip-hop team was about to break apart! Everbody was fighting and arguing, I think it's stress because we're going to be dancing on saturday and this other team is gonna be there, you know the whole rivalry stuff. Other than that we're doing good. How's ballet coming along? Oh dude we have to do technique and a lot of the stuff we do is ballet, so I'm getting a little taste of what you do. I'm having trouble getting my leg on the high bar but the leaps and crap are all mostly easy.

Yeah, my friend said the ending was awful. Knowing me, I'd like it, coz people like you and me have a hightened sense of...er...cinematic...stuff. lol. I played a bit of Halo 2 yesterday at a friend's house. I played the first level where the space-base thing gets attacked, and I played the level where you become an alien and you get to use that Needle-type gun thing (with the crystal-looking stones coming out the top); that gun is insane. Then I watched my friend drive a tank across a bridge, that was fun.
Later on I played Street Racing Sydnicate...avoid that game if you were thinking about it. It's really unrealistic. Opt for Underground 2 over that. later

We also put our Christmas tree up already which is unusual because my dad doesn't usually like to put it up so early. He thinks people start Christmas too early in regards of decorations and such, lol. But now I'm so excited for the holiday season, it's neat how putting up your tree never fails to ignite that. This weekend we are going to do the outside decorations.
A 15 page audition.  Wow. I'm sure you'll do fine but that's a lot! I hope you tell us about the auditions though, I like hearing about them.
That's too bad about your robot, that really sounds like an awesome project. My brother made one for a science project years ago and it was great. Maybe you could use it as a demonstration of how a robot is made?

I'm glad today was good for you, Logan. It was alright for me, too. I only had one class because in my second class we had our final on Tuesday so it was cancelled today. So I came back and went to sleep for 2 hours because I've only gotten 15 hours of sleep this week, total. Then I had to work for my friend, and now I'm on duty and we're going to bake cookies. Unfortunately I didn't get my homework done for my papers that are due next week, but school is almost out. YAY!!

The Bar Mitzvah will be on my Hebrew birthday, January 26th. We are doing a small ceremony because that is what the Rabbi believes in. I like that better also. I got a call back on the producer's audition but I might have to look like a younger brother. We haven't heard yet. I've beaten Halo2 on normal and heroic. Did your brother watch all the credits and see the one scene after the credits?

I've seen what the graphics look like on the next Gen. Consoles. The XBOX 2 is looking pretty good with the new ATI graphics card. Too bad the old XBOX games will probably not be able to work on the new box because they are compatible with the old NIVIDA card.
I have Half-Life 2 and I have beaten it on Medium. I am getting a new video card in a few days. It is the Sapphire Tech ATI Radeon X700 256mb. I just began to play Counter Strike for the PC, and I love it. For some reason, CS: Source won't run on my computer. I have Steam, and after the Steam thing says it loads, my comp shuts off and restarts. Wierd. I just bought Star Wars Galaxies today. It is a bit hard to pick up, but it becomes very fun once you get the hang of it.

Mom and I tried to get the lights on the tree today when dad went out but we are short some lights. We need another whole package. The tree is big! First it will be a Chanukah tree then a Xmas tree
Funny, we just got your Xmas gift also ha ha. My dad is on a low carb diet and I will not see pasta for a long time - at least not at home. Xmas is coming up fast! I have to work through Xmas with the second half of Algebra. I thought I finished it because it was 16 weeks of work but it was honors and it is double the work but I don't have to take high school algebra anymore.

I liked the ending. It is not very open ended because if you watch the credits, you'll see the scene where Gravemind is telling Cortana that he will ask her questions, and she will answer. She complies, but then says "shoot". This implies that she is in the ark where the Halos can be remotely activated to destroy the universe. What she did is totally allowed by the Cole Protocal which states that any AI that is to be captured is to be destroyed in order to keep the location of Earth safe.
I got Star Wars Galaxies today. I love it. It is a little complicated in the beginning, but it becomes fun. I don't know if you are actually playing with real people or not, because no one seems to do any real talking like a real player would.

We wanted to get the tree early so we could do it up for Chanukah also. After the 14th it becomes a Xmas tree. My neighborhood is all full of lights. It's great. Still, things have never been the same since 9-11. That Xmas no one much cared for decorations where I live. We did a red, white and blue tree that year. My Science report is a good one so I don't mind not having the robot, except it is due at the end of the week with an American History report and a ton more of science. I'm getting sleepy!
The auditions went well. The 15 page one won't pick anyone for awhile because there is some reality base in it. The other one is the better one because the acting is a challenge. On the call back there were only three of us there. I might be wrong but I am assuming that is it. There was me and a guy older than me and much taller and a kid much shorter. Who knows what they are thinking.

I don't know much about Chanukah but it sounds nice. It doesn't sound much different than Christmas. You get one present each day for 8 days, right? I'm sure your science report will be great. Did you explain what happened to your teacher?
I understand what you mean about the 4 page audition being the more challenging one. Not having as much to read means having to impress more with less and conveying a lot of emotion into a small piece. Funny that those who got a callback are so different. Maybe they can't decide what kind of character it is they're casting. Good luck.

Weird with that CS and your computer..don't know what it is actually. Make sure you don't have any virus programs open and running when you install it.. that usually to break the installation. Hope you get it to work..

Is the card that you got the Sapphire ATI Radeon X800 Toxic? If it is, then it costs around $600 over here. That is card that I would give almost anything for. That is probably the best card on the market. The card that I'm getting is right under your new card, but I ordered it almost a week ago and it still hasn't come in. It's the Sapphire ATI Radeon X700 Pro, 256mb.

the one at work is a ATI RADEON 9800 XT. It's for next-gen technology, otherwise our computers won't drive the game engine we're working with..pretty powerful I guess.
Hope your card will arrive soon! It's a bummer to wait when all one want to do is to play
